Erwine Health Care - Physical & Occupational Therapy

Erwine's Physical and Occupational Therapist can aid patients recovery from temporary illness and accident or help keep patients dealing with permanent disabilities active. Activity promotes physical and emotional wellbeing in any patient. Erwine can aid the patient in regaining physical strength and provide the practical knowledge to aide in dealing with temporary or permanent disability.

Availability

Services are available to patients in private homes, assisted living facilities and extended care nursing facilities.

Erwine Health Care serves Wilkes-Barre / Scranton, Hazleton, the Poconos and surrounding NEPA counties: Luzerne, Lackawanna, Wyoming, Columbia, Monroe, Bradford, Carbon and Susquehanna.

Erwine can also provide specially trained Home Health Aides to provide personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication pickup and more to help the patient maintain daily living activities.

Accreditation

Erwine Health Care is a Medicare Certified Agency. Erwine is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Division of Home Health Services, Medicare and Commercial Insurance and is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Home Health Agencies. Erwine also received Joint Commission Accreditation with Commendation in 1995 and again in 1998, 2001 and 2004. Erwine received CHAP Accreditation in 2006.
